Directions to Monte Pego from Alicante Airport

(Please note that some place names are shown in the Catalan spelling as well as Castillian)

Take the A7 North (signposted Valencia). Pass by Alicante, Benidorm and Calpe then leave the A7 at the Denia exit. The A7 is a toll road and the fee from Alicante to Denia is about 8 Euros. Take the N332 and follow the signs north for Ondara and Vergel. Shortly after Vergel, turn left on the road signposted to Pego.

When you reach Monte Pego, be aware of the road signs and continue briefly past the entrance, then double back to approach the entrance via the access road.

Continuing into the estate you will pass the commercial area, where you will find a restaurant, bank, bars and Mayordomo, the letting agent, who will be able to provide keys, additional bedding and general advice, all in Spanish.

To reach Villa Rosa, take the first left after the commercial area into the Avenida de Pego Tramo 2. Follow this road round the first hairpin bend and take the right fork, down the hill at the first junction. Now follow this road around the mountain until you go down a steep descent. Heading back up the opposite side and turn left, following the sign for Bella Vista Aparthotel. The road is called Los Clavelles. Continue on this often steep and winding road, which eventually becomes Tulipanes. Villa Rosa is at the end of this road, opposite the last left turn, Los Azanares.
